Here we are almost a week after the total eclipse is over, and people are still talking about it. Most all of those I have heard, are talking about how awesome it was to witness, the majesty of the event was without a match if you will. To add to the event was another thing going on at the very same time as the eclipse, and that was it was also a new moon. The reason that was important was because it affected the ocean tide. We experience very low tides and very high tides during a new moon.
I saw one post on facebook that had taken a very beautiful picture of the eclipse just at the perfect time when you could see, what looked like a diamond ring. This person talked about the Bride Groom presenting the wedding ring to the Bride, and likened it to Yahshua presenting His Bride with that ring. Great picture and very good write up on the thing that she saw in that sign of Yahshua’s love for us.
I believe we can see things that are reminders of Yahweh and what He has done and what He is continuing to do, and what He will do in the end for His people, and you know it is awesome to be able to see these things and know that our Creator put these things in the sky for us as a reminder of His love for us. It is also very important to understanding that this eclipse was not just a random event, that this one event was put in place at the time of creation.
If you will look at Genesis 1:14 you will find Yahweh putting all things in place in the heavens and it says, “Then God said, “Let there be lights in the heavens in the expanse of the sky to separate the day from the night. They shall serve as signs and for seasons and for days and years.” The word for seasons in the Hebrew Language is moed which means festivals. It is those festivals that Yahweh calls His festivals in Lev. 23:1-2, if you look closely there Yahweh said to tell the Israelites that these where His appointed times. The reason I bring this up is because most people say they are the Jewish appointed time, but Scripture clearly says that they are His.
I bring these things up is because He has put these things in the sky and the heavens to remind us of Him and what He has told us. Maybe we could says that in this eclipse event was a reminder that He separated the day from the night to we would be reminded of who our Creator is, and what He has done for us. The truth is that is no better time in our history than right now to be reminded of who is really in charge.
But there is an event that is coming that will out weight the majesty of this total eclipse, and everyone will get to see this event when it comes. You will not have to go anywhere to see this event in it’s totality, everyone, no matter where they are will see this clearly from right where they are. And this event is going to be a onetime event, that no one has seen before, nor will they see it again. We find this event in Rev. 1:7, “Look! He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him. And all of the families of the earth will mourn over Him.” Those that killed Him and those that rejected Him will mourn because they will see the truth that they had called a lie.
