I. The Scriptures
We believe that the original text of Scripture, both the Old Testament (Tanak) and the New Testament (Brit Hadashah) are Divinely inspired, and given to His people through His chosen men who were moved by the Holy Spirit.
II. God (YHWH)
We believe in the only one true God (YHWH), identified in Scripture as the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He presents Himself to mankind as Father (Creator and Overseer of all things), Jesus (Yeshua, the Lamb of YHWH and the Word through whom all things were created), and the Holy Spirit (Ruach HaKodesh who leads us into all truth).
Genesis 1:1; John 1:1-3; John 16:13; 1 Cor. 8:6; Acts 1:4
III. Man
We believe man was created in the image of God (YHWH) and through his disobedience fell from grace. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of YHWH and that repentance is necessary for forgiveness. Only the grace of YHWH can bring man into His fellowship.
Genesis 1:26-30 As the crowning work of His creation, YHWH created humans in His image as male and female. The gift of gender is thus part of the goodness of YHWH’s creation and His original design for humanity. Therefore, we believe that gender is assigned at birth based on genetics and biology.
IV. Salvation
Salvation is offered freely to anyone who accepts Yeshua the Messiah as Master and Savior, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. There is no salvation apart from personal faith in Yeshua Messiah as Master.
Repentance is a genuine turning from sin toward YHWH and faith is the acceptance of Yeshua Messiah and commitment of the entire person to YHWH.
Genesis 3:21; Matthew 1:21; Romans 6:23
V. The Congregation
The congregation are believers who have been grafted into the Olive Tree (Israel) through the Master Yeshua Messiah, experience His presence through participating in the festivals of YHWH, and are governed by His laws. Through the exercising of the gifts of the Spirit (Ruach) we minister to one another building each other up in Messiah. We desire to proclaim the Good News of His deliverance to all people. The congregation operates under the Headship of Messiah through His Word. Each member is responsible and accountable to Messiah and the leadership of the congregation. The leadership of the congregation consists of pastors, elders and deacons in accordance with Scriptures.
